This 128 year old Burr Oak is from Niddry Farm in Winchburgh, West Lothian, Scotland. My grandad drove his tractor past this tree everyday of his working life. It has been painstakingly cleaned, sanded  and set in clear resin with handmade pasta. This process took 3 months to complete and included over 20 hours of sanding and polishing. Set in clear food contact safe resin finished with handmade pasta, hence the name “al dente”.

50cm x 40cm x 5cm

A truly unique piece.
